2017 Rioja Vega Crianza

Dating back from 1882, Rioja Vega has made a name for itself with its iconic classic range. Their Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva are modern fruit driven Rioja style and have won many awards. Sourced from 20 years old vineyards. Fermented in small oak barrels and matured for 14 months in American oak. Aromas of ripe black fruits with hints of spices and eucalyptus alongside subtle toasty notes. Full-bodied and round on the palate with ripe black fruits and hints of mineral.

2018 L’Ecuyer du Moulin Rouge, Haut-Médoc

An astoundingly good value Claret, from an estate which has been passed down through 13 generations of family ownership. Beautiful, dark ruby tint and aromas of spice and ripe fruit. Ripe tannins assert their presence without aggression and the finish is long and persistent. This punches high above its Haut-Medoc classification.

2019 RNW Sauvignon Blanc Rikus Neethling

Rikus’s passion, experience and knowledge have made him a winemaker to watch in a country that is establishing itself as a premium wine producer. His award-winning wines are sourced from the best selected grapes the Western Cape has to offer. Rikus Neethling Wines (RNW) is sourced from Helderberg and Stellenbosch’s best grapes in order to produce hand-crafted wines that are a true reflection their terroirs. Aromas of grapefruit, lime and passion fruit backed with subtle herbaceous tones. Clean, light and refreshing on the palate with notes of lemon grass followed by a long and bone dry finish.

2020 Mâcon Village Domaine Chêne

The Chêne family has been growing grapes in the heart of Mâcon for five generations. Owning vineyards in the top two locations in the Maconnais, La Roche Vineuse and St Veran, this excellent domaine has a lot to offer. This classic white Burgundy is perfectly balanced, with great character and complexity. Extended time on the vine adds ripeness and softer acidity resulting in a wine that is rich and smooth with notes of citrus, butter, nuts, ripe apple and tropical fruit. A real crowd pleaser that won’t disappoint.

2019 Domaine Bousquet Malbec ‘Black Rock’, Tupungato

The Bousquet family combines four generations of traditional winemaking with Mendoza’s ideal winegrowing conditions. Their constant search to achieve optimum ripeness allows them to create wines that boast delicious fruit character with ripe tannins and high acidity and are constantly receiving great reviews from wine critics. Fermented in contact with American oak and aged for 6 months. A typical Malbec with aromas of blackberry and cassis and hints of spice and black pepper. Medium bodied with silky tannins and ripe fruit flavours. Overall, smooth and elegant.

2019 Château Argadens Blanc, Entre Deux Mers

Château Argadens has been owned since 2002 by the Sichel family, who are also part owners of Chateau Palmer and a number of other estates. Their aim is to make the wine a benchmark within the Bordeaux Superieur appellation. Grapes are sourced from a 45 hectares parcels of clay-limestone soil in a single plot located in Entre-Deux-Mers. Fresh and intense nose of mango and pineapple, enhanced by hints of oak and vanilla. Well-balanced by a delicate and lingering freshness and a silky texture.

2018 Zapallares Sauvignon Blanc Reserva, San Antonio

Zapallares’ wines are made from international grape varieties grown in some of the best Chilean regions where they can fully express themselves. This Sauvignon blanc balances the grassy, cool climate style of the region with delicate elderflower aromas and a little exotic fruit character.

2019 Pinot Grigio Rosato Amori, Delle Venezie IGT

Winemakers Stefano Chioccioli and Mattia Giacomelli ferment their wine in temperature controlled tank in order for the wine to develop its typical fruity aromas. Crisp rose wine with lingering raspberry flavours. Easy drinking and very refreshing.

2019 Côtes du Rhône Vieilles Vignes Les Coteaux du Rhône

Sourced around the medieval village of Serignan du Comtat, the grapes are carefully selected and are nourished with the sun and the wind, typical for the region, to produce traditional Rhône wine with character. Grapes are harvested by night, in order to pick when sugar and acid levels are optimum. Easy drinking with lots of fresh cherry and strawberry fruit flavours and fine tannins.
